Bolt on Balustrading
Aside from the balustrading we supply with our bolt on balcony and canopy systems, we also supply individual and more elaborate balustrading designs either internally or externally including ThermConX thermal break connections where necessary.
The choice by specifiers of alternative materials to stainless steel is no handicap to Archtechnik, whose experience in architectural metalwork also embraces mild steel, brass, bronze, and aluminium, together with glass, wood and even marble and granite.
Only the best materials, consistent with budget and specification, are used - for example, 316 grade stainless steel is specified for exterior use; ornamental stainless tube is chosen where appropriate, as it exhibits a brighter lustre when polished, the finish being particularly important.
Whatever the desired effect, Archtwe have the expertise and versatility to ensure it is achieved.
Archtechnik are also able to advise clients on the most appropriate finishes to suit the application, weather painted or powder coated mild steel or polished brass combined with mirrored or satin finish stainless steel or anodised aluminium.
We have been involved in providing individual balustrading for a number of prestigous projects, including the Birmingham Bullring – the busiest shopping centre in Europe - the Birmingham Mailbox and the Derby meteor centre.
